Obituary

McIntosh; Alma Leoda "Lee" - It is with a mixture of sadness and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce Lee passed away at The John M Parrott Centre on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the age of 91. Lee will be deeply missed by her cherished husband David of 63 years. Loving mother of Susan McIntosh (Steve) of Picton and Peter McIntosh (Sandra) of Ottawa. Lee will be remembered lovingly by her granddaughter Ashton Kobler (Simon) of Sydney, Australia. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Joan McIntosh of Port Hope, as well as her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lee is predeceased by her parents Edward and Hilda Westhaver, sister Stella Spindler of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, sisters-in-law Marie Brisbin (Lorne), Jean Burns (Robert) and brother-in-law Arthur McIntosh. The family wishes to express deep appreciation to the staff of the John M Parrott Centre, particularly to those of Maple Lane for the exceptional care provided to Lee. Aquamation has been performed. Visitation will be held at the Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee Chapel on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Lee to The John M Parrott Centre or Grace United Church (Deseronto-Napanee Pastoral Charge) by cheque would be appreciated by the family. A family graveside service will be held at St. Paul's United Church Cemetery in Cold Springs, Ontario in the spring. Online condolences at www.wartmanfuneralhomes.com
