Our family is very saddened by the passing of Shirley. She was our neighbour since we moved to Napanee over 20 years ago. Shirley had a great sense of humour and would often joke about various things about our my husband Dave sneaking a smoke out back by the garage when he was supposed to have quit. We had many conversations about gardening and about our 3 kids and various dogs that we have had. Shirley helped let our first 2 dogs out when we were gone for a long day. She even took them for car rides. She often reminded us about when our eldest son David was little and he for a number of months grew to act like our dogs, barking at people that came to our door and barking outside her window. Her cats Georgia (rescued) and daughter Lillian entertained our last border collie, Charko often on our front porch.

Shirley had a great sense of humour and we feel sad that she is not there. We will miss you Shirley.
